Paper Prototype part 2

The Big Idea: Describe your team's game topic./our team topic explaining fractions and basically math. / What is the most important concept you want your players to learn?/we want our player to learn how to add and subtract fractions so its easier for them to do fractions in class or when they need it. Making Decisions as a Team: How did your individual ideas from "Imagining Your Game" come together for your team game topic? well we discussed it out and all finally came to an agreement. Roles & Responsibilities: Talk about your team process. Describe your specific roles, and how you work together./well kevin is a designer because he is very well at art and todd is helping plan it out and im am also designing and doing most of the planning. Research: What kind of research went into the way you will express the game topic? we use our knowledge and also did some research about it/ What sources are you using and how do you know they are reliable? we used i think math.com or something like that and thats reliable because we used that formation. Impact: Could the messages in the game concept or images in your game demo offend anyone? no/If so, how can you avoid this? The User Experience: Explain the game play. What actions does the player take in the game? they have to drive the car and dodge obsticals Has this changed since you first started planning your game? Why? Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources? Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty?

how this relates to it is that we have turning fractions into decimals and in the picture it explains how to covert a fraction to a decimal. what makes it stand out is that it seemed the best one to choose.

game pitch

How are you using visual storytelling through your sequence of scenes to help players learn about your topic?   We are using visual storytelling by asking them questions and asking them but it first tells you how to explain it and by telling them how to explain fractions and things they can learn more about are topic.
